The pharamcist, unfortunately, is only one example of many people who have been harmed because the courts have spent too much time taking on the jobs of doctors and medical experts in deciding who is and isn't disabled instead of deciding whether or not employers have discriminated on the basis of disability. Thanks for the WalMart story - I hadn't seen that one. I agree with the previous commentator: policymakers need to re-focus on the discrimination, not the "disabled" definition. The second seems semantic; the first, more functional.
