"People with intellectual disabilities deserve only one r-word: Respect"
Thanks, Ruth for sharing this beautiful video from The ARC of Virginia and The ARC of Northern Virginia. It sums up the issues well.
These are my reflections on my interview project. I am recording the stories of people living with disabilities. Personal, real stories - be they humorous, sad, angry, fun, or ... whatever! Comments are welcome.

Beautiful. David your blog is wonderful. I am highligting it Sunday on my blog and stealing some of your links. Thanks again for all your effort on your blog.
Hello David. Good stuff on Tropic Thunder. I've only seen YouTube clips (such as the full retard scene) so far as the film isn't out in Britain until 19th September, but from what I've seen this film doesn't even begin to resemble a clever satire.
I'm sure (and I certainly hope) there'll be as much controversy in Britain when the film is released, and I'm sure I'll be blogging on it.
